Can renuvion be used alongside breast fat transfer (up a cup procedure from airscupt) to help tighten skin a bit? and can fat transfer create a rounder upper pole apperance?
Answer: Renuvion alongside a breast fat transfer Yes, Renuvion (also known as J-Plasma) can be used alongside a breast fat transfer to achieve tighter, more refined results. Renuvion is a minimally invasive treatment that combines helium plasma with radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten skin and promote tissue contraction. Here's how it can complement a breast fat transfer: Benefits of Combining Renuvion with Breast Fat Transfer Enhanced Skin Tightening: Renuvion can tighten the skin around the breast area, which is especially beneficial if there is mild to moderate skin laxity. This can lead to a more youthful and firmer breast contour. Improved Overall Results: When used in conjunction with a breast fat transfer, Renuvion can help achieve a smoother and more lifted appearance by addressing any loose skin that might not be fully corrected by fat transfer alone. Minimally Invasive: Both procedures are minimally invasive, meaning they typically involve smaller incisions, less scarring, and shorter recovery times compared to traditional surgical methods. Optimized Fat Grafting: By tightening the surrounding skin, Renuvion can create a more stable and supportive environment for the newly transferred fat, potentially improving fat survival rates and distribution. Procedure Overview Fat Harvesting: Fat is harvested from areas with excess fat, such as the abdomen, thighs, or flanks, using liposuction. Fat Processing and Transfer: The harvested fat is purified and carefully injected into the breast to enhance volume and shape. Renuvion Application: After the fat transfer, Renuvion can be used on the skin around the breast. A small probe is inserted under the skin, and the helium plasma with RF energy is applied to stimulate skin contraction and tightening. Considerations Consultation: It is crucial to have a thorough consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in both fat transfer and Renuvion. They can evaluate your specific needs and determine if you are a good candidate for the combined procedure. Realistic Expectations: While combining these procedures can enhance the overall outcome, it's important to have realistic expectations. The extent of skin tightening achievable with Renuvion varies depending on individual factors such as skin quality and degree of laxity. Recovery: Recovery from the combined procedures will involve managing swelling, bruising, and any discomfort. Following post-operative care instructions is essential for optimal results. By using Renuvion alongside a breast fat transfer, you can potentially achieve a more comprehensive enhancement, combining volume increase with improved skin tightness for a better overall aesthetic result.

Answer: Surgery It can be done together, but you will probably have better fat survival if the two are done separately to avoid the heat near the fat.

Answer: Renuvion and fat transfer The simple answer to your question is yes. Renuvion is done first then fat is added. The heat from Renuvion will destroy some fat and generally Renuvion is done after liposuction. Typically fat needs to be removed to the Renuvion cannula to fit underneath the skin. This can be accomplished by passing Liposuction cannula without suction. My personal view is that Renuvion does not deliver significant skin tightening, and the results are disappointing for anyone who needs a breast lift. I speak from firsthand experience and have not been impressed by this device.Fat transfer can increase breast size by 1/2 to one cup or about 50% breast increase in volume. The procedure is not particularly good at changing breast shape. Without seeing pictures, we can’t begin to make an assessment. I suggest having multiple in person, consultations with plastic surgeons in your community who have extensive experience with whatever procedure you’re contemplating. Ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patients had similar body characteristics to your own. When reviewing fat transfer results, always confirm the timeframe of when pictures were taken. Recognize that early fat transfer results can look very impressive, but do not in anyway represent final long-term outcomes. If you want to see what Renuvion can accomplish and ask to see results of the treatment. Because Renuvion is almost always done in conjunction with other procedures it is very difficult to differentiate the affect that this treatment actually has. There are virtually no before, and after pictures available of Renuvion and Donna without Liposuction. Liposuction, by itself causes a skin contraction, and this counts for most of the improvement from these procedures. if remove being worked consistently, then there should be thousands of quality before and after pictures available using Renuvion without Liposuction. In reality, the results are purely subjective. My attempt of measuring skin tightening with actual measurements between incision points and anatomic landmarks showed zero skin tightening from the use of this device. The choice of procedures should be based on having a clear understanding of what the problem or ideology is. The best way to understand what you results are likely to look like art to see countless quality before, and after pictures of surgeries on previous patients with similar characteristics by the provider, who’s going to do your operation. An experienced plastic surgeon that should have no difficulty showing you the before, and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing only the best results of a providers career may be insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of that provider or what your results are likely to look like. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeon soup mastered. These procedures is quite small. Breast fat transfer results are generally fairly subtle. The procedure is not good at changing breast shape, but can increase breast size by 1/2 to one cup or approximately 50% to possibly 100% in ideal circumstances. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
