Hi I am going to be getting lipo 360 and skinny bbl & during my consultation with my doctor he recommended that I also get J Plasma in my abdomen. I might have a bit of loose skin after. I an 33 years old & have no kids., 143 lbs height 5”3. I am already a skinny petite women my problem area is my stomach. Is J-Plasma necessary to get a good result?
Answer: Abdomen Liposuction Renuvion You will notice improvements with liposuction alone. The goal of liposuction is to contour the abdomen by removing fat in certain areas. Liposuction does not address any skin looseness that develops after fat removal. This is were Renuvion is very useful. I commonly combine Renuvion/J-Plasma to body contouring procedures to address the skin to obtain improved results. Ask to see before/after photos of similar patients that have had Renuvion procedures.

Answer: Getting a BBL I don’t mean to sound offensive, but I would not consider you a patient for a skinny BBL. I don’t think there’s going to be any issue with harvesting sufficient amounts of fat for a fat transfer procedure. Based on your picture, it appears that your abdomen is bulging, and this is likely due to a combination of excess visceral, fat and subcutaneous fat. Without weight loss the results of Liposuction alone is going to be limited in regards to getting a flat abdomen. You don’t seem to have a significant amount of skin laxity My first hand experience with Renuvion was that it does not deliver any noticeable, subjective or objective skin tightening whatsoever. I purchased the device many years ago and have since sold it because I could not recommend the treatment and still maintain my personal ethical standards. Skip Jay plasma, a.k.a. Renuvion. It will not improve your outcome in any noticeable way. The only effect from using this device is increased pain during and after surgery. From firsthand experience using Renuvion, the device is a major flop, and fails to deliver anything useful to either patients or providers other than a stream of revenue based on false promises! Your provider spent over $100,000 buying this device and would like to see some return on their investment. Let’s not make that at your expense. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who’ve mastered this procedure is quite small. Liposuction has to potential of leaving people, permanently, disfigured and poorly done Liposuction is very difficult to correct. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of provider selection for liposuction and fat transfer procedures like the BBL. To find the right provider I suggest patient schedule multiple in person consultation, preferably with local plastic surgeons in their community who have proven track record with the procedure. Do not schedule surgery until you finished all the consultations. I highly recommend people avoid virtual consultations for any cosmetic surgical procedure, but especially body contouring operations. It’s very important to get an accurate assessment like in your case differentiating between visceral and subcutaneous fat. This will help differentiate your candidacy and will determine the type of results you are going to get. A skilled surgeon should be able to give you an accurate assessment and show you a high number of before, and after pictures of previous patients had very similar body characteristics to your own. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. The more consultations you scheduled the more likely are to find the better provider. The biggest mistake patients make is scheduling only one consultation and then scheduling surgery. This more or less eliminates the ability to choose the better provider. The second biggest mistake patients make is assuming that being board-certified in plastic surgery with years of experience, and an overall good reputation means that somebody has mastered most plastic surgical procedures. This is not true. There’s a high degree of complexity to both Liposuction and fat transfer and the ability to deliver, consistent quality outcomes, including making accurate assessments should not be taken for granted.
