I have been using ice on my lips which has definitely helped however my lips and cheeks are swollen and puffy. Is it normal for cheeks to be affected by lip fillers? If so when can i expect this to subside? They are also still quite tender and stiff

Answer: Juvederm lips Hi thank you for your question. Bruising and swelling can last up to 2 weeks. From your description and the photo it appears to be a normal reaction to the filler. However, if you are concerned or are experiencing any pain. It is important to follow up with your injector.

Answer: Juvederm Swelling it is not uncommon to have swelling that lasts a few days after injecting lips. The amount of swelling depends on which Juvederm filler you had (Ultra plus tends to swell more than Ultra). If you are concerned, I would recommend you go to the provider to ensure there is nothing to worry about. If there is skin blanching (white-ness), skin darkening (like getting black), or pain, you must be seen immediately. But to me, they look typical 3 days post injection. Good luck.
