Thankyou very much for your question and chest x-ray photograph. Fortunately, there is no evidence of arupture on this chest x-ray. Thedarkness on the left side, which you are looking at, is air in your stomach. Additionally, chest x-rays are not used todetermine if an implant has ruptured.
Hi.. thank you for the question and photo... X-ray is not an study to evaluate the condition of an implant. And what you seen is normal air in the stomach.
Hi Athena,It is impossible to tell from an x-ray if your implant has ruptured. The two ways to know for sure if you have an implant rupture --1) to perform an MRI 2) to operate and remove the implantShould you wish to seek an opinion on your implant be sure to see a surgeon with at least one if not all of these credentials: *Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery -- The gold star symbol*A member of the ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons) -- The circle symbol*A member of the ASAPS (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) -- the Queen Nefertitti symbol with a TriangleVery best to you. -Brian Coan, MD, FACS

Your x ray shows air in your GI tract. You can only detect an implant rupture with an MRI and sometimes with ultrasound. Donald R. Nunn MD Atlanta Plastic Surgeon
This Chest Xray is normal with a gastric (stomach) bubble on the left per routine. This will not show a ruptured implant. The best study would be an MRI to see if there is leakage of a silicone implant. If you have a saline implant then the breast will be flattened on the side of the rupture.
