Hi there,Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. In relation to your breast augmentation, this event should not cause you to need to post-pone your planned breast augmentation. There are a few things to consider however, before surgery you must be fit and well and this includes mentally too. A surgical procedure can be quite an emotional and stressful time and so it is vital that you are free of external emotional struggles. It is also worth checking that there were no underlying medical conditions that caused your miscarriage. It may be worth meeting with your surgeon or even one of their nurses to ensure that nothing has changed medically. Wishing you all the best for your future surgical procedure.
I am very sorry for your loss. Having a miscarriage can be very emotionally draining and have long term effects. Having surgery is also a life stressor. I always tell my patients that they need to be free of external emotional struggles when they have surgery. This will ensure that they have the best possible outcome. Additionally, there could be medical reasons for your miscarriage and these could include hematological abnormalities (blood disorders). I would recommend that you have your primary care MD investigate this possibility in order to make sure that you do not have a complication with your elective surgery. All the best to you in your recovery.
