My dog jumped and caught my left breast, I’m 2 years post BA and the side towards my armpits on both breasts are still numb, but ever since it’s been noticeably uncomfortable and I keep getting a warm sensation and when it goes warm my nipple stands out, it’s not painful but uncomfortable, it’s not a constant discomfort though, should I worry? What could be wrong?
Answer: Post Op Trauma to Breasts Hi katiekins91, I understand your concern and I am sorry to hear about what you are experiencing. However, it is difficult to assess your breasts here online. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon to have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Jumping dog and breast implants Unlikely your dog caused any problems. In general, you and your implants are not that fragile. Of course, when concerned, always a good idea to check in with your surgeon.Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author

Answer: Could my dog have caused any damage to my breasts? It would be difficult to give an accurate assessment without an in-person examination. Direct trauma can cause complications in the breast implants but modern implants are manufactured to withstand some degree of external force and these implants do not easily break or rupture. Instead, the surrounding tissues may have been injured, if there is any injury at all. Sometimes, uncomfortable feeling is a sign of nerve regeneration. The best course of action would be to schedule an appointment with your board certified plastic surgeon if he/she is still available, or have a consultation with another surgeon.

Answer: Trauma to breasts Any trauma to the breast can cause problems but it would depend on how large/heavy the dog is to whether they are the direct cause or not. I always advise for my patients to contact my surgical team if they notice any changes in their breasts following a breast augmentation. I recommend that you contact your surgeon and let them know what has happened and the symptoms that you are experiencing. It is difficult for me to assess what may be the problem without seeing you so hopefully they will be able to let you know after an in-person consultation.Wishing you all the best.

Answer: Dog and the BA Hello, I am sorry that the dog has such a menace for you. Is this is dog with large jaw who can grab one breast totally and leave tooth marks on the skin. Are there any teeth bites on your skin. Do this nipple erection and redness appear when you are intimate with humans A picture of the redness and erection could have helped plastic surgeons to answer it more constructively. I am sure by the time read us most of your troubles should be over.
