Neuromodulators (such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau) and soft tissue fillers like Belotero can improve the appearance of the forehead by reducing lines, wrinkles and folds. Deeper lines and wrinkles need a combination approach with Botox, fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to develop a treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer
In my opinion, the best treatment to improve your forehead wrinkles would be Botox. I do not find that fillers work well for this issue.
I would begin by treating with Botox which should smooth them out somewhat. You can also incorporate Morpheus8 treatments to improve skin tone and texture. We also recommend using medical grade skin care products and wearing sunscreen every day.
Hi thereYou should consider Botox as the filler will become problematic without addressing the muscle movement. Have a consultation with an expert injector for best results.Best of luck!
Treatment of deep forehead wrinkles requires several things. First, you need to be on tretinoin (Retin-A) to stimulate collagen production to fill the lines and Obagi's ELASTIderm to stimulate elastic tissue, You did not say how old you are, but our bodies stop making collagen and elastic tissue about 25 years of age and sometimes younger, This thins the skin and makes it wrinkle more. You can also treat the forehead with Botox to reduce the muscle contribution if doing so will not drop your brow. Additionally, Microneedling (or Fraxel laser) can help make new collagen. Since these wrinkles are static (present with no muscle function) you can inject them. If you do, you will want to be on tretinoin so your body will use some of the hyaluronic acid in the filler to make collagen and reduce the need for further injections.
I suggest reaching out to an expert for a formal consultation. I like to recommend my patients start a combination of facial rejuvenation treatments. 1) Skincare with products and microneedling/PRP 2) PDT Light Therapy a few times per month with growth factors 3) Laser treatments like Clear +...
Hi @Good3008! I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices,...
Hi, You appear to have right upper eyelid/brow fat loss. This is often times seen with ptosis. I can’t tell if the ptosis caused the fat loss or the fat loss causes the ptosis (which came first? the chicken or the egg situation) Does your eyes look more symmetric in the morning when you have m...
I am sorry you are having this diffculty. I have treated quite a few patients with this so-called undereye "puffy pillow" condition (actually infraorbital lymphedema) who were treated with fillers elsewhere with either the wrong choice of filler and/or an incorrect injection technique....
