There are many variables that may have an effect on the outcome of your surgery.

1. What is the extent of the fatty tissue deposit. Is is localized to the "saddle bag" or as my colleagues have suggested, does it extend into the lateral buttock.

2. What about the anterior thigh? Will you need liposuction anteriorly and posteriorly in order to get the best contours.

3. What is the condition of your skin? Do you have dimpling, ridges or "cellulite"

4. What is the volume of fatty tissue involved? Larger volumes involve more work and cost more.
