The cost depends on how many areas around the knees need to be done and if the procedure is done under local anesthesia or epidural anesthesia or genenral anesthesia. When you are asking about prices of liposuction remember to ask if it includes operating room and anesthesia cost. In my office, the knee may be considered either as a single area liposuction or as a circumferential knee and lower thigh/upper leg liposuction. The price of these two procedures is different because the circumferential procedure is much more time consuming and challenging. It is like sculpting the lower thigh,knee, and upper leg area. But some people do not need that and can get by with less. The price of a single area of liposuction in my office is about $2000. This does not include operating room and anesthesia cost. Depending on your age, health, and ability to with stand pain these costs may be as little as $1000 or as high as $3500. The cost of circumferential knee liposuction in my office is about $3250-$3750. You have to do this procedure with anesthesia. That may be about $3500 additional cost.
