How much a procedure costs is the most common question patients have when considering cosmetic surgery.  The simple answer is: for breast augmentations you're looking at 7000 -10000 in Toronto.  However, as a patient, you should understand what is the reason different surgeons charge different fees, and even within any clinic, there is a fee range that is offered.The cost of a breast augmentation depends on the following factors:1) Who is doing your surgery? Things to factor in for the surgery standpoint will be the facility fee, anesthesia fee, surgeon fee, implant cost (saline vs. silicone), other fees (e.g., acellular dermal matrix cost, pain pump, surgical garment, etc.). Typically augmentation with saline implants will be ~$1000 less than with silicone implants and ~$1000 less than shaped, cohesive gel implants. Consultation with plastic surgeons who you are interested in having perform your procedure and satisfied with the photographic results is advised. Financing options can be discussed with each office individually, if they offer, or there are other private institutions and companies such as CareCredit who may be able to assist you, if you qualify. A range of $4000-10000 is reasonable for a standard breast augmentation alone, depending on the factors above, the complexity, surgeon experience, and the implant chosen. Hope these answers help! The portion of this cost dedicated to just the breast implants would be $1000 - $3000. Typically, saline implants are less expensive than silicone. Other than saline or silicone, there are usually no other factors that contribute to determining the cost of breast implants. For example, bigger implants cost the same as smaller implants (size, shape or texture do not affect the price).
