Great question! Implant selection takes many factors into account. Without knowing your breast measurements it is hard to say. However, in general 200cc's 1 cup size; therefore 415cc will give you about 2 cups sizes bigger than you are now.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsaiBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
It is impossible to guarantee a postoperative cup size. Each bra manufacturer can fit differently. For example you could be a DD in Victoria Secret while you may be a C in a Target brand. Based on your photos, a 415cc implant looks like a good choice.
Depending on the individual anatomy and desired results of the patient, estimations and measurements should be made for them individually. The elements that form up the breast shape and size and the overall frame can be different in each person. It is best to consult a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in cosmetic breast surgery in person and discuss your goals and options after a physical examination.Hope this helps,Ali Rıza Öreroğlu, MD FEBOPRASEuropean and Turkish Board Certified Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive SurgeonIstanbul, Turkey
Congratulations on your decision to undergo breast augmentation surgery. The most important factor when considering size and profile of a breast implant is to first ascertain the patient's chest width. Once the width is determined, an appropriate implant can be chosen that best corresponds to the patient's specific anatomy. In my practice, after a range of implant sizes is selected, the patient can utilize our sizing system to try on implants of various sizes to get a feel for what volume matches their aesthetic ideal. Moderate profile implants are wider but have less projection, whereas high profile implants are narrower but have more projection. Women who desire more upper pole fullness and cleavage may benefit from a wider moderate profile implant. Women who have a narrow chest width but desire larger implants may benefit from a high profile implant. Ultra high profile implants will give a more augmented appearance given the much greater projection. It is important to convey your aesthetic goals to your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon so that the appropriate implant can be chosen. Good luck!
Thanks for your question! Without seeing you in person, I'm unsure of whether or not 415cc's will be a good size for your frame. Also, I try very hard not to tell patients what cup size I anticipate they will end up being. Bras vary so much company to company, designer to designer, that it is hard to determine. Be confident with the size you chose and then whatever bra you wear, you wear! Good luck!
Hello, thank you for your question and providing pictures! It´s really hard to say just looking at the pictures, remember that nothing is better than an in person evaluation. It depends on your current breast volume and what you want to achieve, also it´s important to make measurements to choose an implant that is appropriate for your chest wall and breast base. Only by looking at your pictures I think you are a good candidate for 380 to 420cc and you could achieve a beautiful result. Be sure to discuss all your concerns with your plastic surgeon.Wish you the best
In my experience many bra companies don't identify sizes equally so it's more important to size based on your proportions and goals. We use Vectra 3-D technology in which we take a photo then choose various implant sizes so you can see with a great degree of accuracy how you will look. The 3-D images show all angles to evaluate cleavage, upper pole fullness, side and top/bottom views. It is often more accurate than the sizers in the exam room and can best demonstrate the subtle difference in cc's.
Hello,Choosing the right implant size can be really difficult. It really depends on your own current shape, size and what you are looking to achieve. Most surgeons will either ask you to try on implant sizes in the clinic to get an idea of the sort of size you are looking for or take photographs and then use morphing software to show you 3D pictures of what you are likely to look like afterwards with various different implant types. I also show people before and after photos of similar sized patients who have opted for similar implants to give examples of what really happens. Many women try on the sizes in clinic and go for larger implants as they often look great in clothing and you have to try them on wearing a bra and a tight top. However, this can often lead you to choose implants that look too big and very unnatural when you are out of clothing. Larger implants can also sometimes drop a bit more with time if they are too big for your frame. If you are looking for something natural 415cc is probably a little large for someone with your frame. It should get you up to a D-DD size though. Good luck choosing your surgeon who will go through all of this with you in person.
The answer depends on your height and measurements you plastic surgeon would take. If you're on the taller side 415 would likely get you to D or DD, but if you are shorter you will be bigger and possibly disproportionately large. Try on sizers at your PS office if you can. That should help. Or do the "rice test". Best of luck to you.
It's very difficult to predict a specific cup size after breast augmentation. The answer depends partially on how large your breasts were before the operation and what size implants are being put in, but also what brand of bra. There is really no consistency anymore between what a "D" really is from one brand to another. One woman may be a DD in one brand and a C in another. The best way to judge if the implants are right for you is to try them at your sizing session and see if they look right for your frame and whether they look like what you are hoping to achieve rather than focus on what the actual letter in the new bras you eventually buy are. Hope that helps!
Thank you for the question and photos. It is difficult to answer your question without examining you however from reviewing your photos 415 cc is a good size for you. It is best to try the implants and see what cup size it fits into. It is best to consult a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.
