Is it okay to eat sugar after CoolSculpting?

Eating sugar after the CoolSculpting procedure will not "ruin" your results. However, such a diet can prevent you from enjoying the long-term benefits of CoolSculpting.  The fat cells killed by the CoolSculpting procedure are not replaced by your body, but the remaining fat cells will continue to store excess fat, as this is the body's natural process. Gaining weight post procedure can prevent you from fully appreciating the clear benefits previously achieved with CoolSculpting.

One of the really great aspects of CoolSculpting is that it is going to freeze, destroy and permanently remove stubborn pockets of fat. This is going to work no matter what you eat or drink. Of coarse, we always recommend a healthy diet and exercise routine. But honestly, you can eat or drink what you want, within reason. The CoolSculpting treatment will do it's job regardless of diet, and within 90 days the treated areas will look smoother. Enjoy!

Don't worry! Your diet after coolsculpting will not immediately affect your results. It can take up to 3 months to see the positive impact of coolsculpting. That being said, however, doing coolsculpting doesn't make you immune to gaining weight in the future. It's always a good time to adopt a healthy diet and lifestyle after coolsculpting. While the technology and treatment can get amazing long lasting results, it's not a license to binge! Continue to exercise and eat healthy and your results will truly be lifetime! It treats the area locally.  Don't get to worried about what you had right after your treatment.  Always a good idea to stay gyrated though.

I don't think that one meal would cause a difference in your results. However, if you were to gain weight, say about 5 pounds, the results would be hard to see. I wouldn't bank on a poor diet with Coolsculpting coming to the rescue for the future. 

Good morning. Thank you for your question. You did not ruin your treatment by having a sweet tooth at the movies. It will not affect your results. Drinking alcohol, in moderation, after coolsculpting is ok. It is not a contraindication. It is always best and recommended to live a healthy lifestyle as much as possible. Hope this help. Your diet does not affect the process of the Coolsculpting treatment intended effects. A poor diet can obviously lead to additional and future fat accumulation.

The areas treated with Coolsculpting have already been treated and the cells that are going to respond have already been "hit". It is important to have a healthy diet and consume the least amount of alcohol possible. Having said that, there is no clinical contraindication from drinking alcohol after this procedure. Thank you for the question. Your diet post treatment will not immediately affect your results from a same day treatment. It is, however, recommended that you lead a healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise to coincide with this treatment as it will only enhance your results. I wouldn't worry about indulging a bit though as you described. You will not see your ultimate results until the 90 day mark, or possibly later should you retreat in the same area, so keep that in mind as well when it comes to your diet. Best of luck!
