The clinic i consulted before this one told me i was not an ideal candidate for CS since I didn't have enough fat to be grabbed. Here, they said i was okay & that CS should be able to get rid of my inner thigh bulges after one treatment.Soon after the procedure,i noticed my thighs rubbing and that was not the case before the procedure.I have my Fup soon.I'm nervous and don't know what to do now to have the gap I had because the rubbing bothers me & gets worse after exercise (warms up and uncomfy)
Answer: Coolsculpting Results--Add Radiofrequency, Thermage, Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra You may have some swelling which can last for a few months after Coolsculpting. For best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. VASER with ThermiRF is the best alternative for achieving a thigh gap. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: CoolSculpting- Post Treatment Swelling of Inner Thighs Thank you for your question, aliaa04. Post-treatment swelling is a very common side effect after an area has been treated with CoolSculpting. Right now your body is eliminating those frozen, crystalized fat cells. Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or skin sensitivity. These effects are temporary and generally resolve within days or weeks. As with any medical procedure, speak with your CoolSculpting provider if symptoms worsen or continue. Best of luck with your results!

Answer: Post CoolSculpting Swelling: Inner Thighs Thanks for your great question. It sounds as though you are going through the swelling phase that is very common after having been treated with CoolSculpting. Frequently, the inner thighs can be quite swollen. I would recommend waiting until the 90 day period is up, and then go in for a follow up to have your "After" pictures taken. Most likely the swelling will be gone and you will notice a reduction in the overall size of the treated areas. We have over 10,000 hours of Coolsculpting treatments under our belts and have have seen this many times. Everyone is different, and the swelling comes and goes at different rates for each individual. One thing is certain, CoolSculpting will not make you get bigger. The only time that would happen is when some one gets PAH (Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia). This is extremely rare, only 1 in 10,000 CoolSculpting patients will get this. And, PAH almost always presents in the abdominal region. So, I wouldn't be worried, you are most likely just going through the normal process. Good luck with your CoolSculpting journey!

Answer: Swelling following CoolSculpting Dear aliaa04: Thanks for sharing your photos. Pre CoolSculpting (CS) photos would be helpful and an in-person evaluation essential to better understand your concerns. In general, 2 actions are occurring following CS: Fat cell resorptionInflammationSwelling and scar formation 0-3monthsSwelling reduction and scar remodeling 3-12 monthsAt 7 weeks, swelling will “roller-coaster” up and down with activity and the thickening and tightening of scar formation will create lumpiness, sensitivities and fullness. These are normal and expected. My recommendations are: Alternating warm and cold massage,Compression garment with added pads over the CS areas for greater compression during non-social timesUltrasound or radio frequency (eg. ThermiSmooth) therapy if it does not go down after 3 months. You can certainly use it before. Regarding any further rubbing, seek professional Certified CoolSculpting Team advice and consideration of a second session of CS. I hope this helps. All the best!

Answer: Rubbing thighs post coolsculpting Dear aliaa04, Thanks for the question and sorry you're in discomfort. Its hard to tell without before and after pictures. You do get some swelling after getting coolsculpted, so your thighs maybe rubbing together since they're swollen and closer together. its best to address this soon with your coolsculpting practice so they can compare to your pre procedure pics. Hope this helps and best of luck. Best, Shamim
