Restylane Perlane (Lyft) or Juvederm Ultra to enhance nose bridge and nasal tip?

Hello. I have an asian nose and want to get enhance my nose by getting dermal fillers in the bridge of my nose and my nasal tip. My question is: Which hyaluronic acid dermal filler would be best for this purpose? Restylane Perlane (now called Lyft) or Juvederm Ultra? How long do these fillers last on the nose? I want something that lasts a long time since I am going to travel all the way to South Korea to get the procedure.

And some HA fillers are more cross-linked than others which leads to larger molecules. I believe the particular type of filler is mostly based on the surgeon's experience. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Hi and thank you for your question! The choice of best filler can only be done on individual basis and upon seeing you and doing an examination as every patient is different but generally speaking, for reconstructing the nose bridge my top choice is Voluma. Other Juvederms or Restylanes can be used in the tip as well. I hope it helps and good luck!

There are a range of suitable products that can be used. I find Juvederm Ultra 3 or Voluma are both very good, and typically last one year or more.It is definitely the case that it is far more important to choose your doctor carefully than which particular product they use, but it should be fine to ask why they choose a particular product.

In my office we have had good results with Juvederm Ultra Plus.  I know other offices that use Juvederm Voluma which will last even longer but is harder to dissolve in the event of a vascular event. Make sure to do your research as this is a highly specialized procedure with real risks. It is more important to find the right injector than the right product. Hope this helps.
