Will CoolSculpting help me get a toned stomach? If not, what are some other options?

Hello... I am a aspiring model that is about 5’11 130 lbs, however my stomach area is not toned enough for my likings. I eat well and exercise but I am not seeing results that I desire quick enough.My goal is to get curves in the waist area (nothing too dramatic), also I want to get rid of the stomach roll when I sit, for a more toned look. My question is will coolsculpting help me with this problem? Ive inserted pics of myself and the goals I’m trying to reach.

Hi,it sounds like Coolsculpt may be for you. Coolsculpt will not give you muscles per say, however, it will remove the stubborn fat that could be hiding your definition. I suggest meeting with your local service provider for a formal assessment. During this assessment, they will customize your treatment plan to help get you to your optimal goal. As said before, diet and exercise is still a very important piece, but Coolsculpt often times completes the puzzle. Good luck.

Three to four sessions of CoolSculpting by Zeltiq should be sufficient to remove most of the excess, stubborn fat from your abdomen. This will definitely make you look sleeker and more toned. If you really want to replicate the look of the goal photos, however, you need to work with a trainer to build up your abdominal muscles; your photos suggest they may be a bit weak. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who can remove up to 25% to 35% of fat in one session using CoolSculpting paired with Zimmer Z-wave radial pulsed therapy, which makes your results more uniform.

Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. Based on what can be seen you would be a great candidate for CoolSculpting. It can create more curves in your abdomen area and reduce unwanted fat. With that being said, it will not create a six pack look like the model in the picture has. It will just reduce the pockets of fat. Coolsculpting are good for removing stubborn areas of fat, but lacks body shaping. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction, if you're a candidate. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. CoolSculpt is a non invasive, fat removal system. It can reduce fat in a specific area by 20-25%. It is not a substitute for diet and exercise, but can help reduce the fat in the "trouble spots" we all have. CoolSculpt will not give you the abdomen of the women you show in your "wish" photos, but it can reduce the fat enough to see a real difference. You seem to be a good candidate, as long as you have realistic expectations. It permanently removes the fat by reducing the temperature in the area enough that it kills the fat cells, but you have to follow a good diet and exercise program, to maintain the results.

Achieving your optimal goal for aesthetic rejuvenation of your abdomen is admirable. Excess fat and skin on the abdomen can convey a body image that I is not consistent with how you feel on the inside. In the spectrum of body sculpting going from the least invasive to the most invasive, starting with coolsculpting which freezes the fat away after a process of aptosis and inducing the body to absorb and remove excess fat. This process however does not result in skin tightening. For improved abdominal definition certainly consideration for smartlipo which uses laser assisted Liposuction to achieve body sculpting may be more beneficial. However in view of the optimal photograph that you were seeking for abdominal rejuvenation it would appear that a full tummy tuck operation would give you a more consistent and sculpted abdomen based on your photographs. Coolsculpting is best used to treat stubborn pockets of fat.  It takes between 2-4 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart and full results/recovery take ~3 months after treatment. It is hard to give recommendations without an exam and consult, but coolsculpting will likely be able to remove some of that fat.  However, it alone will not get you to your inspiration picture.  That is going to require diet and exercise regimen as well. I would speak to a trainer and nutritionist about how to effectively and efficiently achieve that type of body.  Good luck with your transformation.
