I’m 36, no babies, 5’5”, and 130 pounds. I work out 4-6 times per week and try to eat a fairly healthy diet with. I have never felt my tummy was flat enough even when I was much thinner than I am now. I did 2 coolsculpt treatments on my lower tummy in 2015. I feel it made a subtle difference but when looking at my before and after photos, it looks no change. I’d love links to studies and/or statistics.
Answer: Coolsculpt VS Emsculpt Hi,Based on your photos you may be a candidate for both treatments. Coolsculpt will destroy more fat cells than Emsculpt, however, Emsculpt has the added benefit of muscle stimulation for optimal abdomen definition. Coolsculpt combined WITH Emsculpt may be the best fit for you! This synergistic approach will give you both fat reduction and definition all in one. I suggest consulting with a local service provider who offers both technologies. They will set you up with the best treatment plan to fit your needs. Good luck.

Answer: Emsculpt or More Coolsculpting?...That is the Question Hi Lisa,It appears that you would be a great candidate for Emsculpt treatment. Emsculpt will build your abdominal recti muscles (6 pack) by about 16% and decrease the abdominal fat by about 19% over the course of your 4 treatment sessions. Studies have shown that Coolsculpting decrease abdominal fat by about 24% per treament session in the area treated. They can be combined. Since you have already had a couple of CS treatments, I would treat you with Emsculpt. Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA

Answer: Ideal abdominal treatment Thanks for the question, your story is the most common type of patient we see in my office. You eat well and exercise but your genetics leave you with some stubborn areas. My preferred method of treatment is minimally invasive liposucltping with no general anesthesia and special energy devices to melt fat and tighten skin. This can be enhanced with emsculpt. If you are not ready for a minor procedure emsculpt can make a significant different. I find the results double that of cool sculpting and more significant since you get muscle building not just fat reduction

Answer: EMSculpt is a great option We have had EMSculpt for about 6 months and it has been very consistent in it's ability to improve not only the abdomen, but also the buttocks. EMSculpt causes hypercontractions of the muscles, something exercise can not do. It will improve tone, increase muscle definition and reduce the overlying fat. Considering you've had coolsculpt, you might want to try EMSculpt. Assess your results about 2-3 months after the treatments and decide whether some additional Coolsculpt may complete your transition. We have found the combination of EMSculpt with Coolsculpt to be very powerful. Try to find someone with extensive experience with both.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Quintessa

Answer: EMSculpt or CoolSculpting We perform both CoolSculpting and EMSculpt in our practice. Both treatments are very good and we found it best to use them in combination in appropriate candidates. If you have done CoolSculpting, but did not see much of a difference then I would consider trying EMSculpt. Remember, these devices are all just tools and results will vary from person to person and depending on who performed the treatment. It is always best to be under the direct care of a physician with experienced in these treatments. Best wishes.
