Thank you for your question! In order to see results, you'd need at least 4 treatments of EMSCULPT within 2 weeks. Getting an abdominal EMSCULPT treatment right before breast augmentation shouldn't interfere with your surgery but just understand that you may not be able to complete your entire session thereafter. I do not recommend doing the EMSCULPT right after your breast augmentation surgery since the electromagnetic energy can be quite intense and you do not want that to pull on your incisions right after your surgery. Best to wait a month after breast augmentation before initiating your EMSCULPT treatments. Goretti H. Taghva MD FACS
Hi Cattwofour,It would be best to wait until you have completely healed from your breast surgery prior to having Emsculpt, or you could choose to have a complete 4 sessions Emsculpt treatment before surgery. It would be okay to have the final of your 4 Emsculpt treatments a day or two before your breast surgery. Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA
Hi,Emsculpt should not interfere with your breast augmentation. Completing the 4 Emsculpt treatments prior to surgery is the best option, however, if the time frame does not work out in this favor please reach out to your surgeon to determine when you can start your Emsculpt series post augmentation.
Hello,Thank you for your question. You should be ok doing EmSculpt a few days before your treatment but you will need to wait a several weeks before you can do it after your surgery. Please consult with your physician for exact direction. Best of luck!
There is no reason that you can't get an EMSculpt treatment around the time of a breast augmentation, but if your surgeon is not the person doing the EMSculpt treatment, please make sure they are aware so they give you the thumbs up.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Facial Rejuvenation SpecialistQuintessa Aesthetic Centers
Thanks for the question, we have our lipo patients start a week after surgery but we allow breast patients to even do it the day of surgery
Thank you for your question. The best answer is to ask your doctor as they will be monitoring you. Doing it before surgery will not harm doing it right after surgery might cause issues with stitches, etc. I suggest you ask your doctor about what they suggest. Sometimes it's better to just wait. Hope this helps. Best, Dr.Avaliani
I dont see why you would want to have emsculpt before or after breast augmentation anyway as this requires numerous treatments to see results and if you stop, the results disappear. Its like working out. I suggest waiting. But you can ask your physician, it shouldn't cause any harm. Best, Dr. Emer.
Dear cattwofour, every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative and postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Emsculpt prior to breast augmentation should not be a problem. Once you've undergone breast augmentation, however you will need to allow the surgical wounds heal completely before continuing or beginning Emsculpt. You will need your plastic surgeon's permission on the exact timing, but there's no sense in rushing your recovery. Once you are comfortably back into a good routine, Emsculpt can provide excellent results FAST.
EMSculpt is fine as long as you are fully healed. It has no downtime and is 100% non-invasive. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.
EMSculpt defines and sculpts. It does this by utilizing magnetic stimulation to cause muscular super contractions. It would not be an issue if you don't have any metal plates or implants in those areas. I would still confirm with your doctor to make sure.
The Skyla IUD is not metal, therefore EMSculpt should be safe. The Paragard IUD does contain copper and would not be safe.
