Coolsculpt (chin) with fillers - Is it safe to have this procedure and will it cause the filler to dissipate faster?

Hello, I have fillers in marionette lines and pre jowls which I am happy with. I would also like to have the cool sculpting on double chin area. Is it safe to have this procedure and will it cause the filler to dissipate faster?

Coolsculpting will not adversely effect filler that has been injected in the past. Also, the coolsculpt treatment will not be directly over the area treated with the filler, so you should be fine.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Quintessa

The cool sculpting treatment will not interfere with the fillers since it is located in different areas. The best way to determine what treatment plan for the double chin is best for you is to be evaluated by a board certified dermatologist or a plastic surgeon. Sometimes, depending on the patient, it may require several treatments and procedures to see optimal results. Cool sculpting can be an option, there's also kybella which destroys the fat cells and can no longer accumulate or store  fat. If it's excessive saggy skin I would recommend PDO threads. PDO threads are non surgical face lift procedures, they help tighten and lift saggy skin. Best of luck!

The dermal fillers are placed in a different area than where the coolsculpting is being performed.  There should be no problems with this.

You should be fine having CoolSculpting/CoolMini application to treat submental (neck) fat after having had filler in your jowl and Marionette line areas. The CoolSculpting module should not be near the areas you had filler placed.
