Hi, Iam 36yo, and had a BA done March 2017. At that time I went from a natural 34B to a 32DD which was 325cc moderate saline implants. My breast look natural although are heavy and the top portion is not full. I am looking at doing a revision with 250cc high saline. Will this help my concerns OR should I look at silicone to acheive the high, perky look? I want to be able to wear a bra and my breast do not sag. Thanks!

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Lsf2022, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Will a breast implant revision with 250cc high saline implants help with my concerns? (photos) The crescent lift helped but does not seem to have achieved your goals for significant upper pole fullness. While you could downsize the implants as you suggest, consideration should be to move to the higher profile implants (you wrote high profile and there is ultra high as well), but also consider moving to a full mastopexy (breast lift). A full consultation would be necessary to evaluate your tissues, measurements, and all your goals. I recommend you work with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
