Thanks for your question. Everyone reacts differently to lasers, and you may need more than one type of laser to obtain the best results. In many cases, being on a blood thinning agent will have no effect on the outcome, be it positive or negative. This is true for many lasers, but not all lasers! Swelling after a fractional laser treatment is very normal. Most inflammation goes down with in 24/72 hours. You can use cool compresses and/or take an ibuprofen to reduce the inflammation. If the swelling keeps getting worse after a couple of days I would call your provider and let them know.
