I already got two syringes of Radiesse on my mid face area. I was happy with the result, although, it just last four months. There was absolutely no visible difference on my mid face after few months. I am planning to use long-term fillers now. Which treatment do you recommend for me?
Answer: Fillers Such as Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, Silk, Radiesse, Sculptra, Bellafill; Fat Transfer/Renuva your facial structure needs more . than just filler, implants and lifting would be better along with volume but if you are not open to surgery then long term a combination of bellafill and sculptra can do . well over time. fat grafting or renuva is another option. please see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Bellafill or Sculptra or fat transfer? Sculptra and Bellafill are both stimulating agents that produce gradual filling over several treatment sessions. Sculptra results can last 2-4 years and Bellafill results are theoretically permanent. The face will continue to age after Bellafill, so there will be changes in appearance over time. Fat transfer is an invasive procedure that requires recovery time and it is possible that more than one treatment session would be needed to obtain the desired results. I think any of these options could give you good results that would last longer than those achieved with Radiesse.

Answer: Long Lasting Volume Correction Thanks for your question. All three of the treatments you listed are valid options for you. The biggest difference is going to be cost. Fat transfer being the most costly, as the fat needs to be harvested, processed, and injected. Fat transfer procedures run easily around $7000 from what I hear. Bellafill is another good option and gives immediate correction which is nice. You would likely need a Bellafill "Kit"- which is 5 syringes- to create the desired correction. At 5 years there will still be noticeable correction because of the volume you build in response to the Bellafill- that kit will likely be in the $3500 range. With Sculptra what you lose is the "instant gratification" of the other two options, but with a couple of sessions of 2 vials per session you could gain a lot of correction. Most often in someone with your volume loss, 4 or 5 vials injected over the course of a few months is a great fix. Then, maintenance is usually a vial every 12 to 18 months to replace the collagen you lost through aging during that time period. Pricing for a vial of Sculptra will vary but I expect for your total cost it would come in under the Bellafill and work just as well. Be sure to go to a highly experienced injector for these procedures, ask questions about how often they inject and how many they have done, ask to see their before and after photos. Answer: Bellafill With radiesse there is a natural loss of volume at 4 months. the carrier dissolves and calcium particles are released which stimulate collagen production, so dont give up on it. However, fat and bellafill are two long lasting ( possibly permanent) solutions. Sculptra is also excellent and also works by stimulating your body to make its own collagen. All of these products work, but ask your doc which products he/she fell most comfortable with and go with that. combining products is also a great idea. good luck

Answer: Long term filler Thank you for your question and posting your picture. I personally have had Bellafill (formerly Artefill) and after 8 years I have not had a significant decline in volume. Due to the cost differences, we tend to inject more Sculptra than Bellafill. Each vial of Sculptra will generate approximately 5 cc of volume versus a 0.8 cc syringe of Bellafill. The results of Sculptra will generally last 2 years or more but will likely require 2 to 3 sets of injections to reach your endpoint. I generally take a step wise approach with Bellafill as well to avoid over correction. It is best to discuss your options with your injector to get their perspective based on price and longevity.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
