To date there is no standardization as to what concentration factor of platelets is most effective,or the best time interval for treatments(every few weeks?every few months).As such we do not know which preparation system is best.Ideally you want a system that delivers platelets at a concentration of 3.5-5 times normal with minimal red blood cells and white blood cells.

I find that the eclipse or regen do the most concentration with the least amount of blood draw.  I suggest you see an expert and combine PRP with other treatments.  Best, Dr. Emer.

The regen lab can only produce a lower concentration (1.6x) of platelets. The Magellan system can deliver up to 8x. Most clinicians suggest that ideal concentration would be four to five times. However, no formal comparative Studies have been performed as to what concentration is superior. The Magellan has a significant number of red blood cells in the final product. This leads to an inflammatory response which most believe is not helpful. The Eclipse system solves both of these problems and is the one I find most desirable.PRPHAIRMD.COM
