What will happen if the columellar strut is removed and the nosetip rib cartilage stays?

Hi there! If the columellar strut is removed, you may experience some drooping of the infratip. It really depends on how robust the graft was. The remainder of the cartilage should be unchanged assuming sterile technique was performed. The upper lip, if a crease was formed by an excessively large graft, should return to normal once the strut is removed. Hope this helps!
