Every time I had any additional question Ms. Consuelo or Ms. Pati had the doctor answer my specific questions. Prepping for surgery: Los Angeles Hospital where Dr. Arturo Muñoz Mesa, office on the second building on 7th floor suite 703; the office tower adjacent to Hospital Angeles. Dr. Muñoz and team, I filled out paperwork of consent for surgery, make payment, take pictures from all angles, get pre injection, do pre-op lab, x-ray, and finally to the hotel I where I stayed for 4 nights at the Tijuana Grand Hotel, very nice classy hotel with restaurants, good size casino, bar, swimming pool, jacuzzi name it they had it all, although since I was recovering I ended being in my room for those 4 days and in and out to surgery and on fourth day back to the office to take sutures off. Ms. Consuelo and Ms. Pati helped me get all checked in on the 11th floor where the medical booking designated desk for medical services rooms checking was at. Then was given access key to my room and the nurses made sure I had everything I needed in my room to be comfortable from meds and also showed me how to make food order from room. And from the window showed me the nearest location to the stores and where were the closest pharmacies’ if need to get more gauze, hydration drinks etc. Surgery Day: got picked up by MS. Consuelo from the hotel and went to the other surgery clinic location. The day started with more tests, meetings with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and many others from the medical team. Fill out more documents Consuelo was with me the entire time. Even though everyone made me feel comfortable and took a personal interest in me to ensure everything was going well, I felt a lot better with Consuelo around. She left no stone unturned. Once they were ready to start getting prep for surgery changed over to surgery garment, nurse set IV hydration connection to arm. Then moved to the operating room where Dr. Arturo Muñoz Mesa was ready and other doctor and nurses connected monitoring pads and anesthesiologist connected device and said count to 3 and then I was already asleep ready for surgery. Once woken up after surgery was all completed, doctors made sure to have me another day at the surgery clinic recovery room for observation overnight, they ensured strict safety protocols. The next day Ms. Consuelo picked me up and took me to the pharmacies to get nutrition liquids and hydration drinks, meds and then dropped me off at the hotel. Post op: Dr. Muñoz has golden hands. To date, I never felt any pain from the surgery and didn't take pain killers. I stayed in the hotel with comfortable room service recovering. 1145 am transportation was scheduled and I went to bellboys at the entrance of hotel and transportation arrived and took me to the LA hospital entrance and then I went to the adjacent bldg. where Dr. Arturo Muñoz Mesa office is at on the 4th day to remove sutures. Every detail was taken care throughout. I was given a prescription to go to the first floor at the pharmacy and then went back where I got picked up and the same transportation from hotel arrived and took me back to hotel and remained overnight and left the next day. Overall, I stayed in Tijuana for 4 nights all covered with the package deal for the surgery and by choice I stayed an additional night 5th and made the payment on the 11th floor on 4th day. Coming home: One the last day checked out by noon and went back to turn room key on the 11th floor and also got my parking ticket stamp at the checking counter of the main lobby of the hotel. Showed the stamp parking ticket at the parking booth as I exit and paid in pesos. I was given the opportunity to get special medical lane pass from Ms. Pati, although I decide I would just go through the regular lane back at border to San Diego CA. Recovery: Nearly 1-week post-op, I’ve started to notice definition and my recovery has been going extremely well. Still following instruction on cleansing surgical areas except the nose instructed not to touch at all and sleeping slightly up to help the swelling go down and taking medication as prescribed. The next day Ms. Consuelo picked me up and took me to the pharmacies to get nutrition liquids and hydration drinks, meds and then dropped me off at the hotel. Post op: Dr. Muñoz has golden hands. To date, I never felt any pain from the surgery and didn't take pain killers. I stayed in the hotel with comfortable room service recovering. 1145 am transportation was scheduled and I went to bellboys at the entrance of hotel and transportation arrived and took me to the LA hospital entrance and then I went to the adjacent bldg. where Dr. Arturo Muñoz Mesa office is at on the 4th day to remove sutures. Every detail was taken care throughout. I was given a prescription to go to the first floor at the pharmacy and then went back where I got picked up and the same transportation from hotel arrived and took me back to hotel and remained overnight and left the next day. Overall, I stayed in Tijuana for 4 nights all covered with the package deal for the surgery and by choice I stayed an additional night 5th and made the payment on the 11th floor on 4th day. Coming home: One the last day checked out by noon and went back to turn room key on the 11th floor and also got my parking ticket stamp at the checking counter of the main lobby of the hotel. Showed the stamp parking ticket at the parking booth as I exit and paid in pesos. I was given the opportunity to get special medical lane pass from Ms. Pati, although I decide I would just go through the regular lane back at border to San Diego CA. Recovery: Nearly 1-week post-op, I’ve started to notice definition and my recovery has been going extremely well. Still following instruction on cleansing surgical areas except the nose instructed not to touch at all and sleeping slightly up to help the swelling go down and taking medication as prescribed. And bought more gauzes from local pharmacy in the U.S. Impressions: What else can I share with you? Safety, artwork, recovery, compassion, tailoring everything for my anatomy and psychology were all 110%. Given all that, I have every reason to believe the long-term results will be pleasing. Improvements: We know that nothing is perfect, so what would I improve. Communication Don't assume that gratuitous information will just appear, even if you think it is important (ie-the number of the driver who will pick you up). Their way is to be punctual and just appear, whether or not they called you first. Bottom line: They are 110% invested in your satisfaction everything worked out perfectly. My biggest complaint is that why we didn't meet years before this surgery if I knew what I know now. I would have done my surgery years ago and would have been satisfied as a patient as I am now. Final thoughts: This whole experience not only made me look better physically, but it also made me feel better about myself, most important I can breathe better. The experience impacted me deeply. My hope is to be even half as compassionate and patient as Dr. Muñoz and his Team, Ms. Consuelo and Ms. Patti. Being in Team Muñoz care is the best plastic surgery decision you can make. I had been looking at Gyno surgery for a while before I came up on a subreddit from 3 years ago which said good things about Dr Muñoz. I did my own research and booked my consultation through Consuelo who is the case manager/patient coordinator. The Doctor and his staff were really helpful in answering all my questions prior to surgery over whatsapp and email. I am 3 days into my surgery when I write this review. I finally looked at my chest 2 days after my surgery and couldn’t have asked for a better result. Surgery was painless, last 2 days I had minimal to no pain at all.I finally have a flat chest I have been wanting for years. I was a little hesitant before booking the surgery but everything exceeded my expectations. Dr Munõz and his staff are wonderful and really helpful. They definitely did help me ease my nerves. I would definitely recommend Dr Munõz for anyone looking for a Gyno surgery.
For years, since a child, I struggled with gynecomastia. Embarrasing. While going through puberty in my teens, physicians predicted that it would go away with time--sometime before entering adult hood. Never happened. Years later, I finally decided to get surgery. Asking around, I was referred to the plastic surgeon professional, Dr. Arturo Muñoz Mesa who, I was told, has experience in the field relating to gynecomastia. At first I was very nervous but I found Dr. Mesa to be very pleasant, kind, straightforward but most of all understanding of the social intricacies that someone with this problem could possibly endure. He guided me through the steps of the surgery and what to realistically expect after. His confidence, artistic vision and years of dedication to his craft left me feeling at ease. The office team, especially Consuelo Juarez, were extremely helpful and comforting as well. They were nice, and supportive through the entire process and I was very much pleased. Post surgery I was elated at the fact that I can now put this issue behind me. A bothersome predicament troubling me for so long that can now be put to rest. I am forever grateful. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. Also worth mentioning is that this same procedure would've cost 4-5 times the amount where I live in California. If there is anyone who suffers from gynecomastia I definitely recommend Dr Mesa!

No conozco su caso, pero entiendo su inquietud. Sin embargo, en terminos generales, el resultado se ve bastante standard, al menos, en las fotos. Normalmente, todos somos asimetricos de csi todas las partes del cuerpo y creo que deberia darle el beneficio de la duda y no desesperarse, ya que tiene algo muy valioso en el resultado y es que se ve bastante NATURAL, y eso, creame que tiene su merito.Saludos.
El dorso nasal y la punta nasal a menudo se trabajan por accesos distintos(heridas quirurgicas.El material ideal para el aumento del dorso nasal es el cartilago septal. si por alguna razon, Ud. no dispone de este, se puede considerar cartilago condrocostal como segunda opcion, segun sus necesidades.
Lo que si va a necesitar es dejar descansar a los tejidos, ya que han sido trabajados "ineficazmente", relativamente pronto. descarte el uso de esteroides, eso solo le hara la piel del area mas delgada y fragil y dificulatara el acceso al dorso para remover la jiba residual cercana al radix que quedo(no es que le haya "salido", simplemente mientras estaba hinchada, no se notaba). Lo mismo se puede decir respecto a la punta nasal, se puede revisar, SI, mas programelo con alguien que realmente sepa del manejo de punta bulbosa y de preferencia con abordaje endonasal(sin cicatriz visible en la columela).
Por lo general, no solo en Rinoplastia, sino en cualquier procedimiento de cirugia plastica, el proceso de cicatrizacion conlleva varias fases que generalmente requieren al menos doce meses para llegar a la maduracion, que es la etapa donde se observa el resultado definitivo. Manetenr una buena comunicacion con su cirujano, es la mejor manera de sobrellevar este periodo, ya que es el o ella quien sabe acerca de su condicion preoperatoria, el analisis y discusion del plan quirurgico con usted, los cuidados postoperatorios a seguir, asi como los cambios esperados(modificaciones) posibles y los no posibles o no esperados. La nariz es un organo muy noble, le sugiero sea paciente, por favor ya que por ahora no se debe hacer nada, excepto dejar que evolucione y sane completamente. Un saludo cordial.
