Answer: A breast lift can remove all excess skin from the breasts Thank you for your question and photos. If you are happy with your breast size, a breast lift (mastopexy) can remove all excess skin and provide a lift. If you would like to be bigger at the same time, an implant can be placed during the lift surgery to make you larger and increase the fullness on the upper pole of the breasts. Be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Loose Breast Skin Unfortunately, the only option for excess skin on the breast is to cut it out. Think about a stuffed animal. If it is loose and limp, there are two ways to fix that - put more stuffing in (like putting an implant in), or make the shell of that animal smaller so that it fits the stuffing that's already in there a lot tighter. This is what we are doing in a breast lift - we cut out skin so that it fits the breast tissue a lot tighter - making the breast perkier firmer and fuller.

Answer: What are the options to fix excess skin on breasts. It appears that you have a significant amount of redundant skin on the breasts. It is difficult to give a complete answer without better photos and an exam. From what is shown, it appears that you would benefit from implants to increase the volume loss of the breasts and then a lift (mastopexy) to position the breast tissue and nipple over the center of the implant. There are multiple ways to do the lift depending on how much extra tissue or droopiness you have. Please seek consultation with a reputable plastic surgery for the best advice.

Answer: Start with a consultation It's hard to give definite medical advice over the internet, so you should start with a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. Your options for rejuvenating your breasts after child birth and breast feeding usually involve breast implants, a breast lift or both. There are different techniques that can be employed to improve upon the shape and appearance of the breasts. These may include tightening of the skin and repositioning of the breast tissue, insertion of breast implants, or a combination of both techniques. In terms of breast implants, there are a variety of augmentation techniques that can use saline or silicone implants. The procedure is usually done as an outpatient procedure to help augment a woman's breasts or replace volume that has been lost after childbirth, breast feeding, through normal aging or weight loss. This may sometimes require more than one operation if both a lift and implants are needed. Which technique is used is based mostly on the individual patient. In general, if the nipple "hangs" more than an inch below the breast fold, some type of lift will be needed.
