I finally decided to get a breast augmentation after nearly 10 years of considering a breast augmentation. I am so glad that my excitement finally overtook my nerves of going under the knife. Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery has been amazing! Dr.Shah and his staff has been incredible to work with and I the experience from start to finish has been so pleasant. Updated on 28 Nov 2022: Surgery went great and healing is going very smoothly. I am currently 5 days post op and I'm already thrilled with my results! I started as a 38 B/C depending on bra style and brand and based on my current measurements I'm either a 38H or 40DDD. I know that's bound to change once the drop and fluff takes place and the swelling goes down. I will try to upload photos, but this site is being really stubborn Updated on 4 Dec 2022: Finally figured out how to add some photos. I am currently 2 weeks post op and right around a 40DD from a 38B/C. I'm officially off all prescription meds and I made it through the first 2 weeks without having to take any narcotic pain meds. I would take 1 NSAID in the morning then 2 Tylenol extra strengths every 4 hours as needed. I am absolutely loving the more natural look so far in the recovery and I hope once they settle they keep looking natural. Updated on 11 Feb 2023: I am in love!! They fit my figure perfectly but I do occasionally feel like I should have gone with 700 or 750cc. They don't look super augmented which is what I was going for. I wanted them larger, but not super fake looking and Dr.Shah delivered! Currently I am a 40D-DD depending on bra style and brand
Hello! Im a mother in my late 20s, had my BA about six months ago, was waiting to post my review until they had healed. I breastfed so I was deflated, approximately 36A sometimes B. Was wanting to achieve a DD but got nervous and went down a size before the surgery, am currently a 36D. I am very happy with my results and the way they feel. I will update if there are any changes. They still need a year to “drop and fluff” but I do like them now. Very happy with the surgeon and his staff, they tried to ease my nerves about the procedure and I felt safe in their hands. I did gain some weight, the “quarantine 15” I’m in the process of working off.
I had my level II gynecomastia surgery performed by Dr. Bivik Shah 2 weeks ago. The level II involved removing the glands and some liposuction of the excess fat around my chest. Dr. Shah and his staff were amazing and very professional. I was very nervous but the Doctor and all of his staff took great care of me. I had wanted to have this procedure done for over 20 years. I finally decided at 44 to do it and I really wish I had done it years ago. I have hidden my chest for years and I have missed out on so much. I would skip out on waterparks with my kids, days at the beach, swimming pool and even vacations. I have always been confident and in decent shape but no matter what I could not get rid of the puffy nipples and excess fat on my chest. I was surprised to find out how common and affordable this procedure was. I only told a few people I was having it done and those that I told said "good for you! Go for it!" The procedure itself was painless. I got there in the morning and after getting prepped for surgery they were ready for me. I was given the twilight anesthesia and I do not remember any of the procedure. Next thing I remember the nurse was telling me I was all done and ready to go home. I had my surgery at 11:45 am and I was home resting by 4 o'clock that afternoon. I slept good that night and I took all of my medication as prescribed. My biggest concern before the procedure was the drains. The drains weren't as bad as I had imagined and I laid low at home for a few days while I had them. I wore a baggy shirt while I had the drains and nobody noticed. After 4 days I called the office and they had me come in to have them removed. I felt no pain as Dr. Shah's nurse took the drain tubes out. I highly recommend this procedure if you are bothered by gynecomastia. I finally feel free to take my shirt off and wear t-shirts. I am only 2 weeks out and my chest is flat and no more puffy nipple or man boob. I am healing well and most of the swelling has gone down. I am looking forward to the beach and just being free from this. Here are a few things I learned. Do not be ashamed to have this done. Its ok and lots of men do it. Definitely purchase 2 compression shirts before your procedure. You have to wear these 24/7 for up to 4 weeks after the surgery. They help with the swelling and help with shaping your chest afterwards. I have to say the compression shirt is probably the biggest hassle of this entire process so that should tell you everything else is no big deal. I haven't had much pain. I didn't need any pain medicine after day 4 of my recovery. I'm only 2 weeks out and I am already getting a lot of the feeling back in my pecks. You will need at least a week to recover and take it easy. I was back to my desk job after 5 days of just watching tv and relaxing. Feel free to reach out to me with questions. I will post updates as I go.
I had several virtual consulting and then a few phone conversations, I had worked with Dr. Shaw 15 years earlier for a reduction and lift, now I am 42, 155lbs and 5 foot tall my breast had a slight sag and I wanted the least invasive procedure with the least down time. I was specific as to what I wanted and DID NOT WANT with included pictures.I used the My touch MD to really show him wish pics and pics of what I DID NOT WANT and why I didn’t want that. He was very honest and what the reality of what I wanted was and he delivered 100% I am in LOVE with my body! I only wish I would have done my tummy tuck with him too.
I wanted to get a breast reduction because I hated the way I looked having big breasts. Since having smaller breast I feel a million times better about myself. Have gained tons of confidence and never hav felt better. It's definitely the best thing I've done for myself.
Dr Shah did my Breast Augmentation April 4th, 2017 and I had a wonderful experience, from my consultation all the way to the day of surgery. The staff was friendly they all made me feel comfortable and welcomed. To my surprise I was not nervous at all. Only thing I remember it was the anesthesiologist telling me to Countdown from 10 and I was fast asleep I woke up not in pain just really sleepy. I am now three years postop and I love my breast.
I had my butt augmentation done in July of 2019 by Dr.Shah , going on 6/7 months post op now and im very happy with my results , though i didnt provide a picture of my scar it is very hard to notice , I had one single incision. Dr. Shah was always available to me durring my entire recovery even coming in on a day they were closed to help me with concerns I had. I highly recommend him and everyone at Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery.
Hi all, so I had my TT after almost 10 years if debating if getting it. As of right now I’m 9 days post op. Feeling pretty good, haven’t had to take any pain meds besides Tylenol. I had my drain taken out at 7 days post op thank goodness. So uncomfortable. I still can’t stand straight up, hoping that happens very soon. I will post an after pic in a couple days but here are my before pics. If anyone had advice on anything I would love to hear. Updated on 8 Nov 2019: Almost able to stand straight up can’t wait for that. Incision is looking good tape is still attached so can’t really see too much. I don’t have any pain unless I’m sitting in a position for too long then here and there I’ll get a sharp burning pain right above my incision. Other than that no pain just a little tender. Updated on 18 Nov 2019: So this is where my drain was. The tape came off and this is what I’m seeing. I’m 20 days post tt today. I called doc and sent them a pic. They said it’s not infected and to leave bandage off so it can heal. Also to cut down the sutures as they will dissolve as well. I just wanted a second opinion thank you. Updated on 19 Nov 2019: So I’m feeling pretty good. Tape is starting to come off. Incision is healing as it should be. I’m about an inch away from being able to stand straight. I’m liking my results so far. I do have a concern that I will discuss w my doctor on Monday but when I force myself to stand completely straight, the middle of my stomach skin turns very white, you may be able to see from pic. Other than that. I feel good. Updated on 29 Nov 2019: I’m feeling great, happy to say I can now stand straight. Almost scab free can’t wait to start putting stuff on my scar. I’m super happy with my results so far. I swell a little if I’m on my feet a lot but I just ice it and it’s fine. Updated on 1 Jan 2020: I’m so happy thus far with my progress. I started cream and massage on my scar about 1 week ago. I can’t wait to see the progress it makes. I also started working out 1 week ago. Hoping to slim a little on my sides. Other wise I’m super happy with the results! Updated on 17 Jan 2020: Had an appt last week and everything is great. Here is my most recent I sent to the bf the other night. He was out of town for work. I’m pretty happy. Can’t wait for the scar to fade a little more though. Updated on 23 Feb 2020: So my scar is a bit red at the moment as I just got out of my hot tub. All and all I’m feeling great and I feel like my scar is starting to fade a bit. However my stomach is flatter but I have seemed to gain a few pounds and now I’m wearing a size bigger in jeans which is weird to me. Maybe swelling still? Anyone else go through this? I think I also may have to get the ends of my scar cut off. Updated on 3 Sep 2020: I’m very happy with my results thus far. My scar is looking fantastic. Hoping to see it fade a bit more though. Had a breast aug revision 2 weeks ago. Can’t wait to start working out again and getting my stomach a little better.
One year and six months after my tummy tuck, I went back in to have my brachioplasty. I’m on day 5 and have been managing pain since day one with Tylenol and Advil only. The pics are from day two and first time unwrapping. The swelling is annoying because I can’t do much without them swelling. Sleeping has been rough because you have to find a way to keep arms elevated above the heart. The other thing that is weird n no one told me bout was these tings called sty strips. It’s like this plastic wire stitches that really put in to force you to not raise arms over your head. Not only can put not rise your arms, or can’t put them down either all the way because it hurts to fold the stitches.
Wonderful knowledge given to help with my decision, great care, beautiful results, superior staff and doctor. Love the digital image they let you see before you go for surgery day so u have an idea of what your end results will be. Loved how honest Dr. Shah was with me on helping me make my decisions. All around 5 star care and best Surgeon around. I travel 2.5 hours to see Dr. SHAH over the local surgeons in my area.
My recommendation is that the 400cc will fit fine and look great. Many plastic surgeons worry that going "too big" will increase your chances for rippling and sag quicker. I don't agree. We just don't have enough information about it to know for sure. That's why I think the most important part is getting the look you want! I have many, many patients with implants much larger than 400cc and have no sag or ripplings after years!Find the right surgeon that understands what you want!
Unfortunately, there is no way to make the nose smaller non-surgically.I would suggest talking with a plastic surgeon about any fears you may have about surgery for the nose. In general it is very safe, very successful, and the recovery is not bad at all.
Tip rhinoplasty is when you only work on the lower part of the nose (the part that is wider then the middle of your nose). Sometimes, that is the only part that people are unhappy with. They may want a better shaped tip narrower tip, cute little narrow tip, etcTo do that, it usually means making a tiny incision and improving the shape of your nose.Good luck!!
Yes, you can definitely have significant changes to your tip without "adding" stuff or breaking bones. Usually, for a bulbous tip, only stitches in a particular way are necessary. The most important part is going to an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon so that you can discuss all of the option you have.(don't be afraid of the bones and adding stuff - you will be very comfortable after surgery. Also, you may not need it anyway!)Good luck!!
Definitely do it!!Liposuction is a wonderful way to improve the shape of any area so that you look wonderful! Since you are already having surgery, you will get two procedures for one recovery - what a bargain!!
