Hi there! I have been watching videos on social media about “facial balancing” with filler. There wasn’t the ability to select that procedure from the list. But I am curious is you think lip filler would help in my case, and what sort of considerations I should ask for when I go for a consultation somewhere? Any insight on other ways to make my face look more balanced are appreciated as well!
Answer: Lip injection to improve facial proportions The short answer is yes. Lip fillers can improve overall facial proportions. Although, keep in mind that as with all nonsurgical treatments the expectations should be kept realistic. Improving lip volume will make an improvement. But, the improvement would be modest/subtle. If it makes a difference that you can see and makes you happy, then it's "worth it". I would recommend starting with a temporary hyaluronic acid filler, such as Restylane or Juvederm. The first injection may only last 2-4 months. Based on my experience, if lip injection is repeated within that time frame, the result from the second injection usually lasts about 9-12 months. I hope you find this information useful. Best of luck. Kind regards, Dr. Harmych

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Lip filler / facial balancing Hello! The overall symmetry of your lips looks very balanced, we could definitely add some volume to the lips. I notice some volume loss in the mid-cheek so adding volume there would improve the aesthetic or 'balanced' effect!

Answer: An experienced provider can best assess Thank you for your question! Lip filler can certainly help with facial balancing. That said, for an overall improvement in facial proportions, dermal filler may be needed in other areas of the face as well, like the cheeks, nose, or jawline. An experienced provider will be able to assess your face and determine which areas would best benefit from filler treatment. Hope this helps!

Answer: Good question Dear Cheerful321089, Thanks for asking your question and uploading your photos. Based on your photos and your goals of facial balancing, I think chin filler will benefit you drastically for overall facial balancing. You have a small bump to your nose and your chin is a little small for your face. Adding chin filler will elongate your chin and help balance the nose/lip/chin areas. Lip filler will be good to add some volume to your upper and lower lips. Another area to consider is adding filler to your cheeks, especially the area at the junction of your lower eyelid and cheek. It appears flat on your profile view and adding some filler in the medial cheek will also support your lower eyelid. I hope this helps answer your question.
