Seeking experience with delayed reactions to fillers. Is this possibly a result of over filling? (Photos)

Question

I'm three months post injection (1.2 versa syringe) I've discussed with a dermatologist and my injector and everyone is stumped. Herpes culture negative. I've been on steroids and lips normalized and then swelling started over two days later. Is this dangerous to leave them in? Will my body adjust or possibly to a different brand? Is this a result of over filling possibly? I'm now on topical fluocinonide. Any advice please??

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, I note that some demonstrate a degree of swelling, others not so much. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase injections if necessary. Otherwise, the material will spontaneously dissolve on its own at 6-12 months post injection. As the swelling appears to come and go, I don't think it is over-injection.I don't think it is wise to repeat the injection...Best wishes...
