I'm curious about the cost and procedure. Also what about the aftermath as well. Another concern of mine is would it stay symtercial throughout my life or say if I were to get pregnant somewhere in future would it be in different size again. Since my boobs have been different size since I hit puberty. Or would the surgical procedure cause the left boob never to grow again or would it slow down the Rate of its growth. Sorry, I have million questions and usually I keep ask one question after another
Answer: Determing If You Are a Candidate for Breast Reduction Candidates for #BreastReduction surgery are women who wish to have smaller #breasts to achieve a more proportional appearance or to alleviate physical discomfort. Breast reduction can correct symptoms from excessively #largeheavybreasts that may cause the inability to do certain exercises, or create back, shoulder and neck pain, poor posture, bra-strap shoulder indentations and chafing or rashes under the breasts. Women experiencing these discomforts may benefit from Breast Reduction, also called #ReductionMammoplasty. In general when the excessive #breast size causes functional problems, insurance will generally pay for the operation if more than 400 – 500 grams are removed from each breast dependent on your individual i company requirements. However, insurance criteria are becoming more and more restrictive. Pre-authorization by an insurance company is required prior to surgery, and the process takes approximately one month. Each insurance policy has different guidelines and exclusions. Although, we do not accept insurance, our staff will assist patients in obtaining a pre-authorization so they may attempt to be reimbursed for their out of pocket expenses.

Answer: Candidate for a BR Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another. See the below link on some suggestions on finding the most qualified Plastic Surgeon for a breast reduction. Also known as reduction mammoplasty, this is an operation intended to reduce the size of a woman’s breasts and improve their shape and position. Frequently, the areola (dark skin around the nipple) is also made smaller. Functional symptoms (medical disorders) caused by excessive breast weight may be relieved or improved by this operation.Women who have large, heavy breasts, which may be the cause of movement difficulties, back, shoulder and neck pain, poor posture, bra-strap indentations and chafing under the breasts will benefit from reduction. Women with excessive breast size, which may decrease a sense of attractiveness and self-confidence, are candidates.Large breasts that interfere with normal daily activities or with exercise will be more comfortable when reduced.

Answer: Breast Reduction Costs and Asymmetry Excellent questions for someone of your age and life stage. In person consultation would be extremely useful in your case. Breast Reduction like other cosmetic surgery varies considerably across the country and even in the same area. South Florida tends to have lower fees then more expensive areas such as New York or Los Angeles. We charge starting at $5000 + MD Anesthesia related costs for breast reduction. The cost of a tummy tuck starts at $4000 + MD Anesthesia. There is some savings if both surgeries can safely be performed together. Since you can get quality work at lower costs, patients will travel from throughout the state, the country, and internationally to have surgery in South Florida. To ensure that you are receiving quality work at the most cost effective prices, consult with board certified plastic surgeons that own their own nationally accredited facilities. The quality must be maintained at the highest level to maintain accreditation. The surgeons also have incentive to hire and train quality staff (to ensure that surgery is efficient and enjoyable), to ensure comfortable and private facilities (to encourage referral), and to eliminate waste (to ensure that these facilities can compete effectively).Consult with 3 experienced and expert board certified plastic surgeons to understand your options.

Answer: Great Questions! Hello. Great Questions for a 19 year old! Our breasts are usually a little different, but yours are a lot different in size so you will love having the large side made smaller. There are different techniques, and I would recommend "doing your homework" to find a plastic surgeon who is skilled in breast reduction-- we all have different things we do, so it is OK to ask! I think the best technique is the superior-medial pedicle with a short scar (lollipop) for someone your age. I previously did the "inferior" pedicle and now feel this gives a more square or boxy looking result. The key is to find a plastic surgeon you feel comfortable with, and ask questions!Good luck!
