What type of implants will give me a natural look? I don't want my breasts to be the first thing someone notices about me at work, but I want them to be the first thing someone notices when I'm naked :) I'm thinking a C cup
Answer: Sientra implants Sientra breast implants are filled with their proprietary silicone gels HSC or HSC+. The HSC+ has more cohesiveness(stickiness) which allows the implant to maintain their shape. As far as implant selection for you breast augmentation, you will do well with both with the right surgeon.BEst Wishes,Nana Mizuguchi, MD

Answer: Sientra silicone implants and how to choose the best for you All of Sientra's implants are silicone, and have a cohesive gel fill. "Gummy bear" implants have a firmer gel so that they can hold a specific shape. (They are best called "form-stable" implants.) The trade-off is the firmness may not feel as natural, though many patients prefer that. I recommend them when the patient's anatomy is such that a round implant will not fit the dimensions of the breast as well as an oval-base form-stable implant. This appears to be the case with you, as the distance from the nipple to the fold is short.

Answer: The surgeon you use is the most important element in achieving your desired result. To answer the question in your title, the difference between the Sientra high strength cohesive (HSC) and high strength cohesive plus (HSC+) implants is the thickness, firmness, smoothness, upper pole stability, and life span. The HSC+ silicone gel from Sientra is available in a round and a shaped implant. The HSC gel is only available in a round device.HSC+ implants have a slightly firmer feel due to the more cohesive (sticky) silicone material; they are smoother; they support the upper pole of the breast better; and they likely have the longest lifespan of all the currently available round implants. In order to obtain the most "natural" look, you will first want to consider the implant volume. Any implant material, (whether saline or silicone), variation in gel cohesivity (HSC vs HSC+), and shape (round vs tear drop/gummy bear) can give you an unnatural result. A implant that is too large for your body and/or one that develops a contracture is more likely to create an unnatural look. If you select a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is experienced in breast augmentation and who uses these new and wonderful options in breast implants, you should get the closest result to the one you desire.Hope this helps.
