I suspect the depression is in an area where liposuction might have been a bit aggressive leaving too little fat in that area. This can easily be repaired later, after a period of healing, with a small amount of fat grafting to the area. But don’t make any final assessments for at least 8 weeks.

It is not unusual to have contour irregularities early in the course of healing.  The best course of action is to be patient and allow the natural course of healing to occur.  If this irregularity is persistent after 6 months then additional surgical treatment should be discussed.  Best wishes

This area might look more sunken in because the lower area is swollen.  Follow the advice of your surgeon, as they know exactly what they have done inside.  If there is still concern at 3 months (or more) then it may need a revision, but until that time don't worry about it, because many of these irregularities settle down with time & healing.  All the best
