Abdominoplasty 4 weeks post surgery, burning thigh pain, advice? (photo)

Asked By:SAS72 in Australia, AU

I have recently (4 weeks ago, precisely) had an abminoplasty approach to recurrent ventral hernia and umbilical hernia repair - mesh and trunk lipo the operation has been successful but I have been left with numbness to my right outer thigh and a intense burning pain causing me to limp. My GP says it maybe from swelling and pressure on my L3 disc which is a nerve responsible for that part of the thigh. He says I need a MRI to rule out a possible blood clot. Could I please get a second opinion? Thx, Sally
