Yes, this can be typical after fillers. It can take 1-2 weeks for final results. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

Thank you for your question. Having some bruising and swelling after Juvederm injections is common. This can typically take up 2 weeks to resolve.  During this recovery time, the lips may appear uneven. You may try gently massaging the lips to help soften the filler. If this unevenness does not improve after Two weeks, I would consult with your injecting physician to reevaluate the product placement.

You should know from your previous experience that the lips will be swollen anywhere from 4 days to as long as two weeks. What you're showing now is actually a nice result and I'm sure you will enjoy the final outcome. Good luck from New York City
