I am considering fordyce spot removal with CO2 laser on the penis. Will this procedure leave scars and are there better options?

I have an excess amount of fordyce spots covering the the area of my penis shaft. Using C02 laser to remove them, I have a couple of questions. Firstly does this treatment leave scarring? Secondly, if so are there any better treatments? Lastly, what is the usual price range to remove fordyce spots on penises? Thanks very much.

This is treated in the office easily with laser, plasma pen or needle desiccation.  However, there is no cure.  Sometimes they come back after treatment and sometimes they do not go away. Penile pearly papules always respond typically in 2 treatments with permanent cure, but fordyce spots will need ongoing treatment or you try 1-2 treatments and if they do not go away or recur, you will have to retry treatment. These are genetic sweat glands.  You MUST pretreat the area with skinceuticals phyto plus+, emerageskin aox-c, reve skin retinol 1.0 or sente biocomplete serum, reve skin fortified bleaching cream or cosmelan 2 cream to prevent hyperpigmentation and any discoloration.
