I had a mini tummy tuck 6 years ago. My scar is as long as a normal tummy tuck. I was told I didn’t have enough skin possibly to do a full tuck. I wanted to see if there was any way to make my stomach tighter looking.
Answer: Abdomen I would suggest doing EMSculpt, a nonsurgical treatment to help build and tone your abdominal muscles which will flatten your abdomen.

Answer: Tummy tuck From your photos it appears you are a good candidate to revise your mini tummy tuck to a standard tummy tuck. This would give your improved contour through fat and skin removal and further correction of abdominal wall laxity. The result will be a tighter, flatter tummy.

Answer: Tummy tuck revision Here are my recommendation: 1. liposuction the abdomen and love handles/flanks 2. remove excess skin: a small ellipse of skin can be removed from the lower abdomen. 3. tighten the abdominal muscles: rectus plication. This would give you a much flatter and tighter abdomen.

Answer: Yes, doing what should have done in the first place You were never a great 'mini tummy tuck' candidate. Your striae and muscle wall laxity indicate that only a full tuck would give you a great result. Why didn't you get it, or at least offered it? Because most surgeons have been trained that if there is not enough skin laxity above the belly button (to get the little hole out with the excess skin) than a full tuck is not an option. I'm here to tell you that's incorrect. Placing the long incision very low on the abdomen (even lower than your current scar) and closing the hole (that was once attached to your belly button) vertically is far better than a long incision that is too high or not being offered the surgery. The good news is that you can still get your full tuck, with no difference in result than if you got it in the first place.

Answer: Tummy tuck Your mini tuck can be converted to a full tummy tuck. There may need to be a small vertical scar in the midline but it would be low down enough to be covered with a two piece bathing suit
