How to put head back for hair washing after coloring (4 weeks after facelift)?

Hi Ellytuck,Congratulations on your procedure!  Sounds like you’re really happy, and you will enjoy the results for years to come.I would recommend you ask your surgeon for specific recommendations, but:As for coloring hair, we ask that you avoid getting coloring materials on your incisions.  If the incisions are fresh, we even recommend a petroleum jelly to cover them to protect them from chemicals.As for putting your head back, consider not putting your head all the way back as this may be difficult.  Support your neck and have your colorist do the best they can with your head somewhat upright.  In the months to come, you will feel more comfortable extending your neck as you used to.Best wishes,Dr. Jay

Having said that, just be honest with your hair dresser. They are going to know that you just had surgery.  As for assistance if you are nervous.  You should be just fine.

4 weeks out from surgery you should be fine getting your hair colored if all the incision lines have healed. your hair stylist should be able to help you with a little extra support.
