Answer: Issues I would first go to your medical doctor and be tested for allergies, including foods, personal care products, and cleaning products. Your issues may be related to something other than implants. If they turn out to be related to implants, then exchange for saline. We are all exposed to a wide variety of harmful chemicals and our bodies change as we age.

Answer: SSBI, formally BII Keep in mind that women who experience systemic symptoms from breast implants (SSBI) can have either saline or silicone gel implants, and in one leading study, the majority of women had saline devices. Multiple studies from different academic sources (which have all been deemed fraudulent by The Queen of BII, Nicole Daruda) show that heavy metals, silicone, bacteria, bacterial endotoxins, and immune response compounds are the same in women with or without implants. There is now a growing body of women who thought they were 'cured' by explant only to find that there symptoms are coming back. The reality is this: There are many men and women - all without implants - who suffer from a variety of symptoms with no diagnosable disease state. Many now believe that women with SSBI are one in the same with those who don't have implants, and therefore it is not the implant. I recommend two books. The first was written in 1996 by Marcia Angell, M.D., with the title 'Science on Trial'. She was the Executive Editor for the New England Journal of Medicine at the time of publication. She saw how breast implants became a target for plaintiff attorneys, and how science was manipulated in the courtroom. The other was written in 2015 by a retired plastic surgeon, Jack Fisher, M.D. He is an emeritus professor of plastic surgery at the UC San Diego Department of Surgery. After retirement, he gained a Master's degree in history and used is knowledge to write a number of books, including 'Silicone on Trial' (yes, i know, very similar titles, lol). What's so eye opening in this book is the realization that silicone products have been in our food and medicine since the early 20th century (and that we all have silicone in us). I am sorry you are having symptoms, but I can assure you it's not coming from your breast implants.

Answer: Bii issues I’m sorry you’re feeling unwell. Without some idea of what you call BII symptoms no one can help judge this. If you are talking about the common complaints of fatigue, poor sleep, hair, loss, weight gain, aches, and pains, these are also the symptoms of a young mother. Young mothers don’t sleep, they eat poorly, their sleep is disrupted frequently, they are constantly lifting and pulling their young child leading to soreness. In addition, hypothyroidism is fairly common in young women. Be sure to see a general medical specialist to have this sorted out. If your breasts are soft and appear normal, without any changes in their character, It is very unlikely to be because of your implants.

Answer: Issues with implants If you want us to make an assessment or give you help then you need to tell us what your problem is. If you don’t want to have breast implants you can always opt to have them removed. Some people believe breast implant illness is a real condition while others believe it is a concept some people create in their mind to justify a variety of reasons not to feel well. There’s no shortage of people feeling generalized fatigue and difficulty in life so blaming your hardship on the implants may seem like a good fit for some people. There’s no testing or way of documenting breast implant illness most likely because it’s not a real condition. If people begin to believe that their implants are the cause of all of their physiological and emotional problems then it’s easy to see how people can become obsessed over the implants creating all their problems. Most legitimate illnesses are verifiable, can be tested and treated but there are some that Romain more as syndromes without the ability to confirm a diagnosis or deliver proper treatment. Probably the best next step is to follow up with your plastic surgeon or have a few in person second opinion consultations with other providers. Be careful of what you read online. Those who support breast implant illness can lead you down a slippery slope of believing they are evil devices despite having virtually no scientific evidence to support the condition. Women have had breast implants for well over a half a century and somehow only in the last few years has breast implant illness become I thing. In the 1990s there was a false scare of silicon implant based on irresponsible journalism causing the FDA to take silicone implants off the market. Scientific evidence proved that silicone implants were not leading women to get auto immune disease. The scientific evidence was overwhelmingly supportive that silicone implants were safe and did not have a correlation with auto immune disease. They were put back on the market once the FDA recognized there was no risk to the public as was previously stated by Connie Chan and others in the news media. Nobody has to have cosmetic surgery and nobody has to have breast implants. When done well the procedure can lead to high patient satisfaction and I suggest discussing your concerns with experienced senior board-certified plastic surgeons who helped guide lots of patients through the decision making process. The placebo effect can be very powerful so again I suggest being careful with what you read online for those who are fear mongering and supporting breast illness implant despite the condition lacking scientific validity.
