I was hit in the nose about 6 months ago pretty hard right on the bridge of my nose. It hit hard enough to bust open my skin and when i press on it i feel pressure and there is a bump. Will it be there forever? If so is there a Way i can get the bump to go away.
Answer: Dorsal bump on nose Great question! A dorsal bump on the nose is often a tell sign that you had nasal trauma. The bump is due to either a fracture of the bone or disassociation between the nasal bone and nasal cartilages. There is no functional issue leaving it alone, but more of a cosmetic issue. Answer: Nasal trauma Unfortunately, you can get a hump on your nose from trauma. The hump is essentially a scar tissue that can form on the nasal bone. You can wait at least a few months to see if it subsides. If it does not, you may need a rhinoplasty to get rid of the hump. Good luck~
