Nose stitches are hurting me two weeks after rhinoplasty. Is that normal?

I didn't feel any pain through the last two weeks until now. I also returned to work after 10 days and for the last 5 days I have been working so hard (i work in retail). My doctor said work won't affect my nose anymore but can hard work cause more pain? Im thinking to rest for a couple of days. My doctor did not prescribe anything for my nose stitches. He said I'm recovering very well.

Hello,If you are stressed and moving your facial features a lot it can cause some pain because you are still so early in your recovery process. I would trust your doctor if he says that you are recovering well and try resting for a couple of days like you said. Some throbbing is what I usually hear from my patients as they tip their head down or perform vigorous activity soon after rhinoplasty.
