What are the rescheduling fees or policies if you found out that you are pregnant?

Thank you for your question. The rescheduling fees differ among surgeon, medical team, and surgery center. I suggest that you try to call and email as many different sources as possible because you can give them and you the benefit of letting them sooner rather than later.

This is a question that only your doctor can answer for you. The policy for this does vary among physicians though given the circumstances that you describe I would venture to say that an overwhelming majority of plastic surgeons would refund you all your money.Good luck!Steven Turkeltaub, MD

Every office has different policies regarding cancellation of surgery, so it's best to check with the office that you are scheduled with. In addition, it also depends on how close the surgery is scheduled as to when the cancellation occurred. It's also  great that you found out prior to the surgery and general anesthesia that you are pregnant,not afterwards. Most plastic surgery offices would be glad to reschedule your surgery a few months after  you are no longer pregnant
