Sensation issues after labiaplasty and CHR

Usually, it takes 3 months for swelling to resolve, scar tissue to settle, and sensation to return after the labiaplasty surgery.
Experiencing loss of sensation or numbness is pretty common and often temporary.

It can take up to a year for full sensation to return. Please give it a bit more time as it’s only been 6 months.

I'm sorry to hear that you have sensation issues following your labiaplasty and CHR procedure.

You are still in the early stages of wound healing, and there may be some improvement in your sensation during intercourse over time.

I would also wait at least a full year from your original surgery prior to undergoing revision surgery because the wound healing takes up to 1 year to be completed.

I would definitely discuss your questions and concerns with your Plastic Surgeon or a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in Labiaplasty procedures.

Your complaints are unusual and can be from various causes. I suggest you email photos to evaluate with your entire genital area and also pulling up your hood to see your clitoris.

I think it’s difficult to answer this one without any photos and also because changes in sensitivity- both reduced and increased sensitivity are know risk of surgery anywhere in the body; and Moreso around very sensitive areas. Hopefully some further sensitivity will still happen
