I don’t think plastic surgeons are going to be too concerned that you had an eating disorder in the past. They are more likely to look at things from a plastic surgery perspective. Most young people who are not overweight and have fullness in their chin and neck area do so because of a facial skeletal imbalance.

People who have a Mandible that is small or lacks projection compared to their Maxilla Often develop a premature double chin and lack of jawline definition.

If there is Fata removed and Liposuction can easily improve the area but without seeing pictures we can’t make an assessment and an assessment is required before determining if somebody is a candidate for a surgical procedure. Your best option is to have a few in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons to see what each of them has to say.

No one can tell you what’s right for you in regards to having medical treatments and there is no one who has a right to deny somebody else wanting to look better through enhancement with surgery or getting their hair done or wearing nice clothes or getting facial treatments or anything else.

Body acceptance is fine but don’t let them limit your options if this is something you want to do for yourself.
