I find that VASER liposuction in combination with Renuvion or ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis, TruSculpt iD, or Coolsculpting. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Dear Runysugarcane,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
It's always best to lose the weight first and reevaluate your neck issues. From this photograph you presented, you have significant fat deposits in the neck located both above and below the platysma muscle in your neck. Most of your fat appears to be below the muscle. The fat deposits below the muscle are removed with a surgical neck lift procedure which includes a platysma plasty to significantly improve the jawline. Liposuction can only accomplish removal of fat above the muscle which would only give you minimal benefit.
Nice posted photo. Yes you can begin with only sub chin lipo under local anesthesia ($3,500). But your skin is loose also. I recommend chin lipo with mini neck lift with My Elevate suture and neck muscle plication (fee $8,000). Best to virtual consult with....
A double chin is often related to facial bone structure and is rarely related to fat distribution. The people who get the best results are young chubby people. You may get some good improvements. Age and skin laxity can contribute as well. I suggest having multiple in person consultations with local board certified plastic surgeons. Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
Three excellent treatments for double chin are liposuction, Coolsculpting and Belkyra. At an in person consultation, you can learn if you are a candidate for any of these. Based on your photo, you are a candidate for submental liposuction and this can be performed at the time of arm liposuction...
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
