Will chin lipo benefit someone with very minimal fat? (Photo)

Question

I know there is fat under the muscle and more superficial towards the skin so I didn't know if it mattered. The pic I'm attaching is completely relaxed state. With my head up you almost can't see the fat.

Hello, hope you are well. When there is very little fat under the skin, there is also very little opportunity for improvement for submental 'chin' liposuction. Moreover, this needs to be balanced with the potential risks of de-fatting the skin, causing contour irregularities or scarring (rippling, dimpling, or the appearance of skeletonized muscle bands). Based on what we can see in your photo, these same sentiments apply: the potential benefits may not outweigh the risks.

The more fat someone has to remove the more impact Liposuction is going to have. Aggressively done liposuction on someone within fat layers can cause permanent contour, irregularities, and patients should avoid having invasive surgical procedures, unless there’s a strong indication to do so. The risk of having undesirable side effects are real, and if the benefit is minimal, then the risk ratio is not appropriate and Liposuction is ill advised. 
You’ll probably be able to find providers. Happy to take your money and offer Liposuction for you. I suggest you consider avoiding having the procedure.
The contour of the jawline and the formation of a double chin is primarily related to bone structure, especially the shape and size of the mandible in relationship to the Maxilla. Most people seeking chin and neck liposuction have a small mandible or a mandible, that’s lacking in projection.
To get more accurate assessments and different opinions from different providers consider having in person consultations with local plastic surgeons in your area.
Generally speaking individuals who are very thin layers of fat I’m not going to see much improvement from Liposuction.
The risks of the procedure are still there, and respecting risk to benefit ratios is prudent for both patients and providers.Best,
