I'm more concerned with elongating my front profile vs my side profile into a more slender, V-line shape.

From the frontal view, a person's face will look longer and thinner following the placement of a chin implant if they started with a recessive chin. By bringing the chin forward, it also gives the appearance of length. That was a good question.

Without photos or in person evaluation it is impossible to give you a meaningful advise. Implants come in different shapes and sizes and an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon, with good reputation in facial implants, would give you more information in this regard. Good luck.
