I'm more concerned with elongating my front profile vs my side profile into a more slender, V-line shape.

From the frontal view, a person's face will look longer and thinner following the placement of a chin implant if they started with a recessive chin. By bringing the chin forward, it also gives the appearance of length. That was a good question.
