Thanks for your question. You may be "spitting" an internal suture or insorb staple (at times the body will push out absorbable material as part of the healing process). That being said, it is impossible to give an accurate diagnosis without performing a formal physical examination. I suggest that you meet with your surgeon to discuss your concerns. Best of luck!
Dear shortney1880,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for the question and photos. It is difficult to answer your question without examining you however from reviewing your photos it appears that the scab has fallen off. You have a superficial wound which you should have your board certified plastic surgeon examine. Good luck.
Hello! Your area of concern appears to be a small, superficial wound. It is ozzing likely from the wound and according dehiscence of the area there. No signs of infection are seen on your photos, but any wound may become infected. So, just continue your follow up with your surgeon and continue local wound care to the area as directed by him/her. I suspect that this will heal without anything further needed. Hope that this helps! Best wishes!
appears to have fallen or been washed off and if so, you appear to have a superficial wound that will heal with standard wound care. If you have a whitish thing that cannot be simply pulled off, you should see your surgeon for an evaluation and further management. The white thing could be necrotic skin, exudate, a protruding suture, or something else but none are serious.

Gaining a few pounds after a TT will not have a significant impact. Liposuction removes some cells so there are fewer fat cells in the abdominal area. The fat will not move, but weight gains will distribute differently. Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
