I feel my eyes are too small for my face and squint too much when I smile. I went to a consult with a plastic surgeon and he recommended eyebrow lift surgery, and I am open to that however I have a few concerns about that being the only approach. First, I don't want that startled look. Second, I would only want to go forward with an eyebrow lift conservatively in combination with other procedures as I don't think the lift will solve the squinting. I understand that this procedure (and any) can create fear and worry. It is minimally invasive and the real thing isn't so bad. Should you elect to use general anesthesia this is your choice. Another alternative is anti-anxiety medication or a similar sedative to relax you during this procedure.
