I had a rhinoplasty 7 months ago. Why haven't these stitches gone away?

Hello, I had a rhinoplasty done in January 2021. My nostrils were reduced. I am wondering what this is and why it hasn't gone away. See picture please.

I would like to only improve my droopy nose tip. Can closed surgery give me good results or will it have to be open?

The tip can be lifted easily with a closed approach. Open approach is more useful in complex revision surgery. In closed approach the skin is elevated off the nose from the inside and there are no external scars. The hump is reduced and some grafts are used to lift the tip. Regards Dr. J

Hello Funny137672, Based on the provided pictures your goals can be achieved only by a surgery. There are two reasons of a droopy tip when smiling which are weak cartilages and lack of tip support, or strong depressor septi nasi muscles. The reason should be identified during the surgery. If...
