Hi, I have crepe-like skin on my belly after pregnancy. I wanted to address the issue with Micro-needling RF plus Sculptra and alternate these treatments(having at least 2 of each). Does it make sense to have Microneedling RF without Sculptra? Would it still make a noticeable difference? I'm 33 y.o. and the skin is sagging but not much. Thanks! `
Answer: RF Microneedling Thank you for your question. At our practice we do morpheus8 body all the time with and without fillers. For the abdomen we have seen great success in reduction of skin laxity with the morpheus8 alone. But it is important for your provider to give you realistic expectations. Post treatment care and number of sessions is also important.

Answer: RF Microneedling for lax skin of the stomach Thanks for your question. Radiofrequency microneedling can be an extremely effective treatment for skin laxity in any body region- providing both surface smoothing and skin tightening. In particular the Morpheus8 has the greatest depth penetration options and even the ability to dissolve residual unwanted fat cells IF that is a goal as well. It is honestly not necessary to combine a Morpheus8 level of treatment with anything injectable in this scenario. Sculptra is a collagen stimulating injectable substance which will result in potentially some increased volume in the treatment zone, which may not be what you are looking for in a region such as the abdomen. If I were looking to tighten skin even more, I would combine Morpheus8 treatment with a session of BodyTite which is another way to deliver RF energy to the skin but requires the insertion of a thin probe underneath the skin. I hope that is helpful to you!

Answer: RF Microneedling and Sculptra Thank you for your question. I would recommend completing a series of 3 RF Microneedling treatments prior to injecting with Sculptra, as the RF Microneedling procedures could negatively impact the Sculptra results. Additionally, Sculptra and RF Microneedling are different modalities that essentially produce the same results so you may not need both treatments to achieve your goals. I would recommend consulting with a practitioner that is experienced in both modalities in order to fully address your concerns. Best of luck

Answer: Yes, sculptra isn't required to see results RF microneedling is a fantastic option for improving skin texture, tightening, and addressing concerns like crepe-like skin. It utilizes the combination of microneedling and radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and enhance skin elasticity. When performed by skilled professionals, RF microneedling can yield noticeable improvements in skin texture and firmness. Sculptra, on the other hand, is a dermal filler that encourages collagen production over time, helping to restore volume and smoothness to the treated area. When combined with RF microneedling, Sculptra can provide a comprehensive approach to rejuvenating the skin, enhancing both its texture and volume. However, you've raised a valid question about whether RF microneedling can still make a noticeable difference without Sculptra. The answer is yes, RF microneedling can offer significant benefits on its own, especially for concerns like crepe-like skin and mild sagging. At 33 years old with skin that has mild sagging, RF microneedling alone can stimulate collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and enhance overall skin texture. It may provide the results you're seeking in terms of skin tightening and rejuvenation. That being said, the decision to combine Sculptra with RF microneedling or to pursue each treatment separately depends on your individual goals, timeline, and preferences. While Sculptra can enhance volume and provide more comprehensive results in the long term, RF microneedling can still offer noticeable improvements without it. Before making a decision, I recommend consulting with a licensed and experienced skincare professional who can assess your specific skin condition and provide personalized recommendations. They can help you create a treatment plan tailored to your needs, whether that involves alternating treatments or focusing on one specific approach. Remember, every individual's skin is unique, and the best treatment plan considers both your current skin condition and your desired outcomes.

Answer: It depends on your anatomy You can get great results with RF results alone, nevertheless it is crucial to design a treatment specifically suited to fulfill your needs and expectations. There are no two patients alike, that's why the individualization of treatments is crucial.
