Hello, I had a bbl over 10 years ago and I didnt do the right thing in regards to upkeep and now I have a flat, but lumpy stomach....is there anything I can do about this now? Laser, massage etc or is another bout of lipo the only solution?
Answer: Abdomen You did not post photos, so I would go to a board certified plastic surgeon and be examined. You may have some residual fat, or areas that need fat grafting, or some excess skin. Different things can be done to help improve your abdomen probably.

Answer: Lipo lumpy stomach Dear Glorious991, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Liposuction results To make an assessment on the outcome of a procedure we always need to see proper before and after pictures. correct and poorly done liposuction is difficult and often not possible. There’s nothing you could’ve done differently. Postoperative care does not change liposuction results. In other words lymphatic massage and compression garments do not change fat distribution. Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe it. The procedure is permanent and irreversible. There’s a dramatic difference in outcome based on who does the procedure. For that reason I recommend patients be vigilant about the vetting process of providers for this procedure. Patients should be highly selective and choosing only the most talented and experience providers. Choose providers by having multiple in person consultations at which time you should ask the providers to open up their portfolios and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures. Being shown a handful of sample pictures which most likely represent the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like. In the end there are only two variables that matter when it comes to liposuction results. The first is patient candidacy and the second is the skill and experience of the surgeon. All other variables are in many ways irrelevant compared to those two. When people are left dissatisfied from liposuction results it can always be explained because the patient was either not a good candidate for the surgeon didn’t do a good job. After the fact it becomes very difficult to correct or improve on outcomes. Without pictures we can’t even begin to make an assessment. Follow up with your provider who did the procedure. Despite being several years ago that is the person responsible for your outcome. Alternatively you can have second opinion in person consultations with other plastic surgeons. It’s a deal when patients come prepared for a second opinion consultations bringing with them proper before and after pictures and ideally a copy of your operative report. Those are usually available if you contact your previous surgeons office. At 10 years they may or may not still have that information still available for you. Collecting uneven contours after liposuction is very difficult and often the amount of improvement is minimal. This is especially true if the first procedure was done aggressively.
